Duke’s Paolo Banchero has gone at No. 1 NBA Draft pick to the Orlando Magic in 2022.

Australian Dyson Daniels at just 19, and hailing from Bendigo in Victoria, has vaulted into contention to be a top 10 pick by way of an outstanding NBA G League season which saw him earning the All-Star Rising Stars game.

His decision to forgo college and the NBL seems to be paying dividends.

In the guard position, he averaged more than 11 points and six rebounds per game for the G League Ignite.

Daniels has been tipped to go at No. 10 – and may be taken higher – following Josh Giddey’s selection at No.6 by Oklahoma City in last year’s draft.
